This was my second time working with Bonnie Mueller. Dressed in an olive bikini from Andi Bagus, detailed with delicate jewels that caught the occasional glint of sunlight, Bonnie’s striking presence still stood out amongst all the greenery in the background. Her experience made it easy for me to capture images that felt honest and raw.
We decided to use a large frond from a nearby coconut tree. Bonnie approached it and sat on it while I captured a few shots. Determined to shine, she stood up and started dragging the frond towards the ocean. Provocative and iconic, she intensified her gaze and delivered numerous moments for me to capture. I couldn’t mess this up if I tried! There was no forced glamour here, no contrived poses, just Bonnie interacting with the space around her, finding a rhythm that felt like her own.
